How I survived in a metro!

Moving to a metro city is a bitter-sweet experience and comes with a host of problems. For an introvert person like me who finds it difficult to adjust in a new environment it was nothing short of a nightmare. New work, new roads, new people and I had no idea about where to go, when to go and how to go anywhere and everywhere in the city.
Every morning was a drag and the start of a lonesome one hour journey to the office and another one-hour return journey back. Sundays were mostly spent locked up in a room for I had no knowledge of the public transport - what to catch and where to catch. Metros used to scare me at the thought of traveling in the huge rush.
I was beginning to panic and desperately wanting to pack my bags and go back home. But then I fortunately, met a childhood friend on one of the days. She understood my anxiety and comforted me by talking about her own experience of being new to the city. She also introduced me to my life saver - Ibibo Ryde that acted like a magic wand for me. It was easy and hassle free.
It's an app-based platform that helps you find other people with a car on your preferred route and you can easily find available rides and carpool. Isn't it great? It saved me money and the most important it saved me a lot of time. All that time spent in changing from one bus to another, from a metro to another was truly back-wrecking. All I had to do was step out of my apartment and there it was, all till the office and the best part was I could easily spend my time reading my favorite novel.
Despite my introvert nature, the icing on the cake for me was the fact that I found some wonderful people on my journeys. Now I have a whole bunch of friends in the new city with whom I can hang out on weekends. Thank you Ryde! My everyday travel is so much fun now.
Just download the app & select your preferred route - be it for your daily office commute on weekdays or weekend getaways to another city, all it takes is a single click and VOILA!
